Dan McGuire, a pioneer in resin distribution who co-founded General Polymers, has been named president of the Plastics Pioneers Association at the group’s annual meeting. McGuire was inducted into the Plastics Pioneers in 1991, and has served in multiple positions. The group supports industry-wide educational programs, including scholarships, and works on historical preservation.
